How do you make your juice?

Our juices are freshly made using The Norwalk Hydraulic Press. Our Hydraulic Cold Press machine liberates the nutritional enzymes from the fibers of the produce and then puts them under extreme pressure. As the hydraulic press does not force air into the juice during pressing, the juice does not decay as fast. Unlike the centrifugal juicers our cold press machine slowly masticates the fruits and vegetables without creating heat allowing us to extract the juice without harming its natural nutrients , vitamins and minerals.

How long do the juices last?

Cold pressing ensures the most nutritious and live juice possible. Keep it refrigerated between 32 and 41 degrees fahrenheit. Depending on the flavor our products last between 5 and 10 days unopened and 24 to 48 hours after opening.

Why don’t you give all the juices at once?

We designed our delivery schedule to ensure you get the freshest juice possible. One delivery for the Three- Day to Five-Day Detox and two deliveries  for the Seven-Day Detox.

What are the benefits of a one-day cleanse?

It’s like pressing pause for a day. Your body gets 24 hours to rest and heal. It also gets large amounts of nutrients it can absorb instantly.

Does it really matter what order I drink the juices?

Yes! The Juice Cleanse is formulated to work at detoxifying your body in the proper order.

Which cleanse should I do?

It depends on your Detox experience level and lifestyle. We urge you to select your duration based on your activity level and realistic goals.

Health

Will I loose weight?

Weight loss is not the objective to our Detox programs. Our intention is to improve your physical state and cleanse the body of excess toxins, however, many people experience some weight loss during our Detox.

What are the negative side effects of a Detox?

When toxins are released from your body you can experience headaches, irritability, skin eruptions, achy muscles or cold- and flu-like symptoms. With proper hydration (lots of water) and rest you can reduce or eliminate them.

I haven’t gone to the bathroom in a couple of days or I have been going more than normal?

Change in waste elimination is normal. Eating chia seeds, drinking aloe vera juice or taking a natural laxative helps with constipation.

Consider scheduling a colonic to clean out your colon.

Can I cleanse if I have a medical issue? Do medications or prescriptions affect The Juice Cleanse?

Please address this question with your primary care provider. The efficacy of some medications can be affected by consuming large amounts of fruit and vegetables.

What if I am pregnant?

Please check with your OB GYN. If you are  pregnant, trying to get pregnant or breastfeeding, it is best not to do a detox, however, adding the juices to your daily diet has great benefits.

Can I do The Juice Detox if I have diabetes?

It is not recommended to do a Juice Detox if you have diabetes or other serious health issues.

Food and Nutrition

Can I eat while on The Cleanse?

To achieve the maximum results it is better to not eat solid food but If you’re a first-timer, you may find this challenging. Please listen to your body and if you absolutely must eat something eat fresh raw fruit or vegetables.

Am I going to feel hungry?  What happens if I cheat?

If you have the urge to eat, it will be more out of habit than a need for more nourishment. Nutri Boost juice detox is formulated to give you instant energy and enough calories to feel satiated. And the beauty of juice is that it is absorbed almost immediately into your body. If you absolutely positively need to cheat, try to eat raw, fresh vegetables and fruit.

Is there a lot of sugar in The Juice Cleanse juices?

There are natural sugars found in juice but no added sugars. They help you feel energized and refreshed after each juice. Keep in mind that our infusions (not juices) and nut milks use organic honey or Agave. If you are someone with a pre-diabetic condition or diabetes Nutri Boost Detox is not for you.

What are the benefits of juice over raw fruits and vegetables?

Instant nourishment. Juicing is like drinking a predigested meal and the nutrients are instantly available for use by our bodies.

I have a work meeting that I can’t bring my juice to. If I eat fruit or vegetables will I compromise my Detox?

You can still consider yourself on The Nutri Boost Detox  as you are still eating a plant-based, predominantly raw diet. However, the less you eat the less stress there will be on your digestive system.

LIFESTYLE

Is it ok to exercise while on a Detox?

Yes! Light exercise like yoga, running, walking or swimming is recommended. Exercise will also help you eliminate toxins. But please listen to your body. If you feel weak, take that as a sign that you need to get some more rest.

Are there situations in which one should not do a Detox?

If you’re pregnant, nursing or have a pre-existing medical condition, doing a Detox is not recommended. Also if you are suffering from a cold or virus, it’s best to wait until you have recuperated before starting a Detox.
